UK GCHQ worked with German, French, Spanish and Swedish spy agencies on mass surveillance

By Madison Ruppert: The intelligence agencies of Germany, France, Spain and Sweden have developed mass surveillance techniques in concert with Britain’s GCHQ, which in turn closely works with the NSA, according to a report.
GCHQ, the British eavesdropping agency, has been implicated in some incredible surveillance schemes involving the NSA including the cracking of what was thought to be secure encryption and the sharing of global communications. They also reportedly have unlimited access to telecommunications networks.
Most of the monitoring conducted by the European agencies is reportedly carried out via direct taps into fiber optic cables and through relationships with telecommunications corporations, the Guardian reports.
Indeed, most recently it was reported that the NSA and GCHQ both directly tapped into Google and Yahoo data as it traveled via fiber optic cable between data centers.

After “Currency Wars” Comes “The Death of Money”

The world is getting closer to that end game every day,” says Rickards, who just finished writing the sequel to his bestselling Currency Wars.

The game’s objective was to simulate and explore the potential outcomes and effects of a global financial war. Two years later, Rickards published what would become a national bestseller, Currency Wars: The Making of the Next Global Crisis.
In Currency Wars, Rickards concluded that a dangerous global financial crisis was not only in the making, but that it was inevitable.

Feminist Propaganda: Reclaim The Night – James Cook Univeristy Style

01_Stop rape poster
By Reclaim the Night (RTN) marches have been a feature of the feminist landscape since the 1970s. In the city of Townsville in Queensland, in recent years the attendances have been limited, mainly comprising the same core group of radical feminists, and generally the event passed with minimal interest or public acknowledgement.
This year the traditional event organisers, the Women’s Centre Townsville, were ready to cancel the event because new government funding arrangements require that they spend a specified part of their budget on helping clients directly rather than spreading feminist propaganda at government expense. The ball was passed to the hotbed of feminist dogma, the James Cook University Social Work Department. An organising committee of social work student’s feminist-fundamentalist indoctrinates took on the challenge with gusto. They established a Facebook page replete with many examples of man-hating, gender profiling, all men are rapists type rhetoric and gained a modest online following.

US MIC Document Reveals Official NSA Talking Points: Use 9/11 Attacks as a “Sound Bite”

By Michael Krieger: Al Jazeera America has some great work in obtaining the official NSA talking points via a Freedom of Information Act request. As might be expected, the agency tells its people to use the attacks on September 11, 2001 to manipulate public opinion into accepting unacceptable levels of surveillance. As I have maintained over and over again for years, our overreaction to 9/11 has done exponentially more damage to the nation than any terrorist attack ever could. I penned my latest thoughts on the attacks last month in my piece: How I Remember September 11, 2001.
One of the highlights, actually lowlights, of the document is what the NSA refers to as a “soundbite that resonates.” Here it is:
I much prefer to be here today explaining these programs, than explaining another 9/11 event that we were not able to prevent.
More from Al Jazeera America:

The National Security Agency advised its officials to cite the 9/11 attacks as justification for its mass surveillance activities, according to a master list of NSA talking points.

All-Time High Unemployment: The Economic Depression In Europe Just Keeps Getting Deeper

By Michael Snyder: The unemployment rate in the eurozone is higher than it has ever been before.  This week we learned that eurozone unemployment came in at an all-time high of 12.2 percent for September.  Back in January 2012, it was sitting at just 10.4 percent.  So anyone that believes that "things are getting better" in Europe is just being delusional.  In fact, the economic depression in Europe just keeps getting deeper.  The funny thing is that the mainstream media will barely call what is going on in Europe a "recession" even though the unemployment rates in both Spain and Greece are now much higher than anything that the United States ever experienced during the "Great Depression" of the 1930s.  There haven't been as many headlines about the financial crisis in Europe lately because the ECB has been papering over the debt problems of the periphery (at least for the moment), but the economic conditions on the ground for average Europeans just continue to get even worse.  Later on in this article, you will read about a 25-year-old Spanish man with three college degrees that moved to London in a desperate search for a job who is now cleaning up poop for a living.  The economic collapse of Europe continues to march on, and there is no end in sight.

Fake Pregnancy, Fake Miscarriage, PWNED! - In His Own Words

pregnancy-test-21By Domestic Violence Awareness Month for Men and Boys, the invisible victims of domestic violence, is over. If you’ve been following the In His Own Words series all month, you know just how heartbreaking and gut-wrenching these men’s stories are. Many of you have undoubtedly found these accounts painful and triggering to read, especially if you or someone you love has had similar experiences.
These men’s tales have run the gamut from physical violence to emotional abuse to substance abuse to mental illness to sexual abuse to sociopathy to child abuse to abuse by law enforcement and the family court system. Hopefully, In His Own Words has helped put a human story to men’s domestic violence statistics and helped illustrate that domestic violence perpetrated against men and boys by women isn’t “funny” (Sharon Osbourne, I’m talking to you) nor does female perpetrated violence occur due to feminist fairy tales like rape culture and patriarchy. Abuse can usually be attributed to the multi-generational transmission of violence and dysfunction.
Today’s In His Own Words is a little different, in that we get to hear a manipulative, deceitful, abusive woman get her comeuppance.
The video, Always Be Recording? Better Believe It, is an audio file from Houston’s 104.1 FM The Roula & Ryan Show. Roula and Ryan periodically do a “revenge” segment in which they invite listeners to come on the show and confront their tormenter on the air live. Enter Josh and Jen.
Josh dated Jen for 6 months. He broke up with her after her behaviors became increasingly manipulative, angry, crazy, jealous and psycho.” Approximately 2 months later (after Josh began dating another woman), Jen resurfaced claiming she was pregnant — oops!

How Science Is Telling Us All To Revolt

By Naomi Klein: Is our relentless quest for economic growth killing the planet? Climate scientists have seen the data – and they are coming to some incendiary conclusions.
In December 2012, a pink-haired complex systems researcher named Brad Werner made his way through the throng of 24,000 earth and space scientists at the Fall Meeting of the American Geophysical Union, held annually in San Francisco. This year’s conference had some big-name participants, from Ed Stone of Nasa’s Voyager project, explaining a new milestone on the path to interstellar space, to the film-maker James Cameron, discussing his adventures in deep-sea submersibles.
But it was Werner’s own session that was attracting much of the buzz. It was titled “Is Earth Fucked?” (full title: Is Earth Fucked? Dynamical Futility of Global Environmental Management and Possibilities for Sustainability via Direct Action Activism).
