Obama’s ISIS War is Not Only Illegal, it Makes George W. Bush Look Like a Constitutional Scholar

Rudderless and without a compass, the American ship of state continues to drift, guns blazing.
- Andrew J. Bacevich, the Boston University political science professor and former Army colonel
who lost his son in the Iraq war in 2007, in a recent Reuters article.
By Michael Krieger: I have spent the past several days outlining my deep concerns about the “ISIS crisis” and Obama’s willingness to employ extreme propaganda in order to once again embark on another poorly thought out military campaign here and here. What I have also come to realize is that his latest war plan is brazenly illegal and unconstitutional.
While critics have been questioning the legality of U.S. military campaigns consistently since the end of World War II, one trend has become increasingly clear. With each new President and each new war, we have witnessed those who hold the office act more and more like dictators, and less and less like constitutional executives.
One very important, and up until recently, overlooked point about Obama’s latest “war on ISIS” is that this is not at all just more of the same. This crosses yet another very important line of shadiness, and if we as as American public allow him to do so, we will suffer grave long-term consequences to our economic future as well as our liberties. This is very serious stuff.

What Did Ray Rice Do Wrong? + James Brown Gives Mangina Speech - Thinks Domestic Violence Only Effects Women

6oodfella: The very same people slating Ray, would be yelling "GIRL POWER!" from the rooftops if a man slapped and elbowed his larger, stronger wife, and then got knocked out when she hit him back once. They are hypocrites.

Banksters Trying To Manipulate Elections In Scotland For Profit

By Martin Armstrong: Several of the bankers are threatening to leave Scotland if they vote for separation. These sly bankers said the same shit when the UK did not join the Euro. What these crafty untrustworthy people are really saying is they have UK debt and they fear it will collapse if Scotland leaves
In truth, they are part of the government scare-team and any bank that threatens that should be thrown out of Scotland anyhow. This is not what is good for Britain or Scotland, this is all about the banks not losing money on their bond holdings. Typical abuse of position and any bank taking that position does not deserve a license.
If Scotland stays out of the EU and UK, and it moves away from Marx and toward Adam Smith, it will become the new Switzerland for the 21st century and then watch all the bankers trying to get into to Scotland. I would void any banking license of a bank that puts out this outright propaganda for they are once again trying to manipulate society to line their pockets.

Queen Elizabeth II Requested Poverty Funds For Heating

A new report has revealed that Britain's Queen Elizabeth II requested financial assistance from a state poverty fund to help heat the royal palaces.
Orwellian UK Regulator BANNED Press TV: The report showed that in 2004, a senior royal aide had asked for a handout from a 60-million-pound energy-saving fund.
In addition, the report showed the royal aide had complained that the 15-million-pound government grant to maintain the Queen’s palaces was inadequate.
According to documents disclosed under the Freedom of Information Act, British ministers rejected the Queen’s request as they feared a poverty grant to the royal palace would cause a public relation disaster.
Authorities explained to the Royal Household that the poverty fund was aimed at schools, hospitals and families on low income, the documents show.
"I think this is where the Community Energy Funding is directed and ties in with most allocations going to community heating schemes run by local authorities, housing associations, universities etc.,” wrote an official in an email to the palace, adding,

Meet The Puppetmasters: Here Are The 25 Most Politically Influential Billionaires In The US

Tyler Durden's picture It has been said, correctly, if only by those who see beyond the false "left-right" paradigm, that those who call the shots in US politics, and thus American socio-economics, are not so much America's lobbying corporations, but the people behind the corporations - i.e., those who have the money... all of it. Obviously, nobody has more money than America's billionaires. So who are the true puppetmasters who determine America's fate?
For one answer we turn to Brookings Institution Governance Studies Director Darrell West in whose upcoming book "Billionaires: Reflections on the Upper Crust" examines the political use of great wealth, including campaign expenditures, activism through nonprofit organizations and foundations, holding public office, media ownership, policy thought leadership, and behind the scenes influence. Most importantly, it ranks the 25 most influential American billionaires.
So from the Koch Brothers, to Bloomberg, to Tom Steyer, all the way to Marc Andreesen, Donald Trump and Alice Walton, here they are, whether readers agree with the ranking or not.
