Don’t Believe The Movies Girls

By : We’ve heard it our whole lives. Women can do anything men can do. And movies and popular culture seem to back it up. With big production movies always having to script in the tough chick, who can fight, shoot, and physically perform alongside the men.
Normally the industry will go that one step further and have the hard chick with the heavy eyeliner, dykish haircut, and generally crappy anti-social attitude, actually outperform the men. Often with a scene where a man will point out the obvious concerns about having a female on the team, and the stereotypical tough girl responding by assaulting the man in some impressive fashion, and making a wise-crack as she walks off victorious. The man put firmly in his place.
Movies like GI Jane, Aliens, and anything featuring Michele Rodriguez are perfect examples of this formula. And the formula has worked. The belief that this is somehow based in something factual has permeated our society. Spurred on by 2nd and 3rd wave feminism. Rebel fists pumping into the air and chants of “Anything a man can do, a woman can do better!” And it’s taken hold to the point where militaries across the feminist ruled, post-industrial, matriarchal world are being forced (against their will) to introduce women into the combat parts of the armed forces.
But what about outside scripted movies with carefully choreographed fight scenes?
You know… Reality?

ICMI17, Australia: Mark Latham, Former Leader Of The Australian Labor Party, Will Speak On The Subject, ‘The Myth Of White Male Privilege’

By Mike Buchanan, J4MB: The ICMI17 website is still being fleshed out in one or two areas – speaker details and photographs will be added in the coming few days, for example – but one already confirmed talk title is that of Mark Latham, ‘The Myth of White Male Privilege’. The start of his Wikipedia entry:
Mark William Latham (born 28 February 1961) is a former Australian politician who was the leader of the Australian Labor Party and Leader of the Opposition from December 2003 to January 2005. He led the party at the 2004 federal election.
Latham left politics in 2005, after  the incumbent prime minister, John Howard, was re-elected to a fourth term. Latham has since become a prominent political commentator.
A senior person at AVfM yesterday described Latham to me as, ‘the Marmite man of Australian politics – half the country loves him, the other half hates him.’ He sounds like a perfect choice to speak at ICMI17.

McCarthyism Is Breaking Out All Over

By Paul Craig Roberts: Seasoned journalist, White House official, and historian Pat Buchanan has responded to the Washington Post’s fake news about the independent journalists on the 200 List being Russian agents by reminding us that the US government has always been a major disseminator of fake news. http://original.antiwar.com/buchanan/2016/12/01/fake-news-war-party-lies/
No one knows who is behind the newly created PropOrNot website that came up with the list of 200 “Russian agents,” but it is as likely as not the State Department funded National Endowment for Democracy, which has been peddling propaganda as fake news since its inception. Indeed, it was created for the purpose of destabilizing the Soviet Union. Of course the CIA could be involved, or Israel, or George Soros, or some neoconservative group, or some new government funded organization as a tool of the propaganda war that the Obama regime has vowed to fight.
By publicizing the fake list in the Washington Post, the presstitute newspaper has brought buckets of shame and condemnation upon its head, destroying in the process the thin shred of credibility that the Main Stream media still possessed.

Tom Utley: Feminists Will Howl, But Women’s Brains ARE Different From Men’s - Take Their Shaky Grasp Of Logic…

By Tom Utley: Distinguished lawyer though she is, in a profession that sets great store by the accurate use of language, Cherie Blair appears confused about the meaning of the word ‘mythical’.
She used it this week in a rare-for-her Newsnight interview, in which she told a fawning Evan Davis that fathers should play a more hands-on role in bringing up children, while employers should do more to promote the rights of mothers in the workplace.
‘We still organise our work in such a way,’ she said, ‘as though we were still living in this sort of mythical world where all women stayed at home and men went to work.’
To be fair to the former Prime Minister’s wife, she is probably saved by that word ‘all’. It is indeed a myth that there was ever a time when all women stayed at home, while their menfolk brought home the bacon.
But where mothers of young children are concerned (and it is clear from the context that she was talking about them), there is nothing in the least bit mythical about a world in which the great majority of those who had the option devoted their time to raising offspring, leaving it to the fathers to earn the dosh. It actually existed — and not so very long ago, at that.
