The Looting Machine Called Capitalism

By Paul Craig Roberts: I have come to the conclusion that capitalism is successful primarily because it can impose the majority of the costs associated with its economic activities on outside parties and on the environment. In other words, capitalists make profits because their costs are externalized and born by others. In the US, society and the environment have to pick up the tab produced by capitalist activity.
In the past when critics raised the question about external costs, that is, costs that are external to the company although produced by the company’s activities, economists answered that it was not really a problem, because those harmed by the activity could be compensated for the damages that they suffered. This statement was intended to reinforce the claim that capitalism served the general welfare. However, the extremely primitive nature of American property rights meant that rarely would those suffering harm be compensated. The apologists for capitalism saved the system in the abstract, but not in reality.

Former Israeli Defense Minister Confirms Israeli Collaboration With ISIS In Syria

By Richard Silverstein: In the midst of complaining about the Islamist threat to Israel and the world, Bibi Netanyahu conveniently forgets that his own country enjoys a tacit alliance with ISIS in Syria.  It is an alliance of convenience to be sure and one that’s not boasted about by either party.  But is not terribly different from one than Israel enjoys with its other Muslim allies like Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the Gulf States.

Bogie Yaalon served as defence minister in the current government till he had a falling out with Netanyahu.  Now Yaalon plans to form his own party and run against his former boss.  Unfortunately for him, he’s not polling well and doesn’t appear to be much of a political threat.

So Yaalon enjoys the position of having little to lose.  He can speak more candidly than the average politician.  In this context, he spoke at length on security matters at a public event in Afula.  There is always much that I disagree with whenever I read Yaalon’s views.  For example, while warning about the danger of favoring too heavily one side over the other, he essentially justifies Israel’s interventionist approach, which largely has favored Assad’s opponents.  Nor do I like his choice of political allies–from Pam Geller to Meir Kahane’s grandson.

Jews Gather To Sing "I'm Not White, I'm Jewish"

Zionist Report: This is not 'just a silly song' this contains hatred and it is racist. It is also contained in their 'holy Talmud'. If a Goyim decided to write a song saying 'I'm not Jewish, I'm white' he would be accused of anti-semitism. Why do white people have to put up with this? It's time to boycott their Talmud and their racist literature!

The Lies We Tell In This Age Of Feminism

By : There have been several issues emanating from the Australian Football League in the past few months which have underlined just how dominant the feminist narrative is in the land down under. How strange, that a sport which has celebrated masculinity and men for decades is now a leader when it comes to pushing feminist ideology and presenting men as a gender in need of “fixing” or demanding that men respect all women simply because they are women. Yes boys-that includes the drunk women who grab your crotch in the nightclub and beg you to take them home to your bed.
Two years ago I wrote an article for AVFM which focused on the absurd and dishonest way in which women are accorded equal status with men for their courage and self sacrifice in war during annual commemorative services.
It seems to be an appropriate time to revisit this issue with another ANZAC Day close at hand (25th April) where we honour our Australian servicemen and women.
This morning I was reading my Sunday paper when I came across an article by a former football coaching legend, Mick Malthouse. He had written about some of his favourite memories of the ANZAC Day clashes between Collingwood and Essendon (two powerhouse Australian Rules Football clubs.)
It was the fourth paragraph which made it hard for me to digest the hot cross bun I had been enjoying. Let me quote it for you.

The Everyday Hatred Of Men - Part One, Patriarchy

Men Are Good!: This is the first in a series that focuses on three misandrist theories, Patriarchy. Hegemonic Masculinity, and Toxic Masculinity. All too often the hatred of men is an accepted cultural practice while the hatred of any other group is strictly forbidden. This video looks into the Patriarchy idea and its hatefulness.
