The National Intimate Partner And Sexual Violence Survey ‘17

Earlier this week saw the release of the latest National Intimate Partner and Sexual Violence Survey (NIPSVS) from the Centre for Disease Control (CDC).
By Jordan Holbrook: If I am going to be totally honest, I’m really annoyed this managed to blindside me. I’ve cited the previous releases of the NIPSVS so many times in debates/arguments and to think the latest release managed to slip by and it took me nearly a whole week to realise it. Disgraceful. At least with the Adult Psychiatric Morbidity Survey, I was on that pretty much as soon as it came out and WHEW! That was a blast of a report!
Anyway, exposition aside, this latest release is jam-packed with a lot of information that I find to be very useful and I am very glad to be able to sit down and chew my way through it. Whilst this data is US-only, I would argue that it is applicable to many Western countries such as the UK and Australia because we all share similar cultures, values and laws. There are, of course, discrepancies and differences but, ultimately, I would argue the data is still applicable.

Former US IRS Agent Sherry Peel Jackson Exposes Income Tax Federal Reserve Connection

"The money is being stolen from you! ...All that other stuff, they do that so that we can fight each other while they build this cage around us that I call the sheeple corral, ...This issue is unifying in every way, racially, religiously, this is all of us are being suppressed as slaves by all of them, the power elite [non auditable private central banking cartel]." Said Sherry Peel Jackson.

Repressive Codes Of Conduct For Communication Now Pervasive

: Communicative codes of conduct have become pervasive for in-person conferences and online communities. These codes of conduct repress “offensive communication” far more extensively than did communicative norms in medieval Byzantium.

Under current codes of conduct a person can easily commit the offense of communicating offensively. Consider, for example, the code of conduct for a recent computer programming conference. That code declared:

Harassment includes offensive communication related to gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, religion … Be careful in the words that you choose. Remember that sexist, racist, and other exclusionary jokes can be offensive to those around you. Excessive swearing and offensive jokes are not appropriate [1]

"If You Take East-Syria, I'll Take That Yemeni Port"

Moon of Alabama: Will the U.S. leave Syria if doing so prevents a Russian fleet in Yemen?
The question seems weird but if Russia succeeds with its negotiations in Yemen it will soon have to be asked.
A U.S. neoconservative outlet recently published an interesting but mostly unsourced bit about Yemen:

Russia is mediating negotiations for a political solution to the Yemen conflict outside of UN channels as a means to secure naval bases in Yemen. Russia is pursuing political negotiations with the UAE and former Yemeni president Ali Abdullah Saleh by beginning to discuss the future consensus Yemeni government. Saleh’s support for the Houthis is critical for the al Houthi-Saleh bloc to retain its influence across northern and central Yemen. The UAE may see this settlement as a way to halt the expansion of Iran’s influence in Yemen and to limit bearing further costs associated with the Yemeni war. Saleh previously expressed willingness to grant Russia military basing rights in Yemen. This basing would allow Russia to project power into one of the world’s busiest shipping lanes in the Red Sea and the Bab al Mandab strait, a global maritime chokepoint.

Prez Trump: You Can't Fight The Whole World

By Eric Margolis: Maybe the president believes he’s won a great victory over the wicked Syrians by lobbing cruise missiles at one of their underused air bases. Maybe Trump believes that he’s scared the evil Russians and the too big for their sampans Chinese into obedience.
His 22,000 lb MOAB terror bomb on Afghanistan should keep those pesky Taliban quiet for a while even though the Pentagon claimed the intended target was a group- Khorosan – that may not actually exist.
Those major malefactors, the crazy North Koreans, could be about to feel America’s full military might if they so much as twitch.
Not content with nearly stirring up a new war with North Korea, President Donald Trump is now waving the big stick at another of Washington’s favorite bogeymen, Iran. For the Trumps, Iran is poison.
In recent days, President Trump has threatened to renounce the six-power nuclear agreement to freeze or shrink Iran’s nuclear infrastructure. This sensible pact was signed during the Obama administration by the great powers: US, Britain, France, Russia, Germany and China. Trump appears willing to abrogate the treaty and outrage the other great powers just because he hates Iran for some reason and, it appears, Muslims in general.

What Corporate Media Never Tells You About North Korea

'Do you know North Korea has agreed to suspend its nuclear testing if the US agreed to end the annual war games along the border of North Korea? ...Do you know George Bush called the leader of North Korea apygmy”, and said he wanted totopple his regime”?'
By Joe Clifford: There is a great deal of propaganda and deliberate misinformation about North Korea, which the public should know. While neocons, a cheering corporate media, and Deep State, rush to war with North Korea, information is the ultimate weapon. For example, did you know that North Korea, China, and India, are the only three nations who have committed to a “no nuclear first” policy. They have pledged never to use nuclear weapons “first”, but of course reserve the right to use them if attacked. - How many times has the US threatened to use nuclear weapons against North Korea? Do you know that North Korea has repeatedly asked the US to engage in bi-lateral talks, to cool off the ever-escalating tension? The offer was flatly rejected by both Obama and Trump.
